About this Recipe

Bacon wrapped dates are the perfect balance of sweet and savory. These make an excellent appetizer for any party or a great afternoon snack. Chef Erin kept this recipe as simple as possible, but if you would like to get creative with them feel free to stuff the dates with almonds, goat cheese or anything you would like!

  • 3 strips bacon
  • 6 dates, pitted

    Prep dates

    • Cut bacon in half lengthwise.
    • Wrap piece of bacon around each date.
    • Skewer toothpick through date to secure bacon.
    • Repeat using remaining dates and bacon.

    Cook dates

    • Place dates in Zone 2 of Brava metal tray.
    • Slide metal tray into top shelf. Press green button to begin cooking.
    • Note: You will flip dates after 7 minutes.

    Flip dates

    • When Brava notifies you, carefully remove metal tray.
    • Using tongs, carefully flip dates.
    • Slide metal tray into top shelf. Press green button to continue cooking.

    Finish and serve

    • When Brava notifies you, carefully remove metal tray.
    • Transfer bacon wrapped dates to serving platter and serve.
