About this Recipe
A Reuben Sandwich is a diner classic and you can make it in the Brava at the press of a button. This recipe comes together with rye bread, pastrami, sauerkraut, cheese, and Thousand Island dressing. If you’re looking for a cooking project, make the Pastrami from scratch in the Brava. Otherwise, any store-bought sliced Pastrami works well.
Ingredients
- 2.0 rye bread
- 6.0 pastrami
- 0.5 cups sauerkraut
- 0.5 cups shredded swiss cheese
- 2.0 tablespoons thousand island dressing
- butter

Prep Sandwich
- Butter one side of rye bread slice and put buttered-side face down in indicated zone of Brava Metal Tray.
- Place Pastrami slices on top of rye bread.
- Put sauerkraut on top of pastrami.
- Put shredded Swiss cheese on top of pastrami.
- Spread thousand island on one side of rye bread slice and butter on the other. Put thousand island side face down on top of Swiss cheese.

Cook Sandwich
- Place Brava metal tray into bottom shelf.
- Press green button to start cooking.

- Once sandwich is done, transfer to large plate and enjoy.
