Ingredients
- 1 head of garlic
- 2 15oz. cans chickpeas
- ½ cup tahini
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup ice-cold water
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon olive oil for serving (optional)

Roast garlic
- Cut off top 1/2" of garlic head.
- Place garlic, cut side up, in Zone 2 of Brava metal tray.
- Slide metal tray into top shelf. Press green button to begin cooking.

Cool garlic
- When ready, carefully remove metal tray from Brava.
- Let garlic cool for at least 10 minutes.
- While garlic is cooling, prepare the chickpeas.

Prepare hummus
- Pour chickpeas into fine-mesh strainer. Rinse chickpeas under running water and drain. Place chickpeas in blender or food processor.
- When garlic is cool, squeeze roasted garlic cloves into blender.
- Add tahini, lemon juice, ice-cold water, kosher salt and cumin.
- Blend hummus on high speed until smooth.

Finish and serve
- Transfer hummus to serving bowl. Drizzle olive oil on top of hummus, if desired.
