Honey Garlic Shrimp

About this Recipe
This recipe for Honey Garlic Shrimp is sweet, savory, and comes together in less than twenty minutes. To make it, you’ll cook shrimp in the Brava, and in the meantime, you’ll prep a quick sauce with sesame, garlic, scallions, honey, and other aromatics. Once cooked, toss the shrimp with the sauce and enjoy with your favorite garnishes. Fresh cilantro, lime, and sesame seeds are all delicious additions.
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1.0 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2.0 cloves garlic, minced
- 0.25 cups thinly sliced scallions (¼” slices)
- 2.0 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1.0 tablespoons sugar
- 2.0 tablespoons honey
- 2.0 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1.0 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 1.0 tablespoons chili flakes (optional)
- Fresh scallions, cilantro, lime, or sesame seeds (optional)

Cook shrimp
- Place shrimp in Zones 1, 2 and 3 of Brava metal tray.
- Slide metal tray into top shelf. Press green button to begin cooking.
- While food cooks, prepare sauce.

Make sauce
- In small saucepan, add sesame oil, garlic and scallions. Cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add soy sauce, sugar, honey, lime juice, rice wine vinegar and chili flakes (if using).
- Bring mixture to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring often.
- Transfer sauce to serving bowl.

Toss shrimp with sauce & serve
- When your food is done, transfer shrimp to bowl with sauce.
- Using tongs, toss shrimp in sauce until evenly coated.
- Top with garnishes, if using, and serve.
