About this Recipe

This is one of the easiest and most delicious ways to make Mac and Cheese. All of the ingredients for Mac and Cheese are dumped into the Brava Chef’s Pan and are then turned into the creamiest and tastiest comfort food of all! The bacon is optional in this dish, but Chef George Duran highly recommends including it.


  • 1 lb dried elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons (½ stick) butter
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cups shredded cheese, divided
  • 4-8 slices cooked, crumbled bacon

    Preheat Brava and prep macaroni

    • Press green button to begin preheating Brava.
    • Place dry macaroni, milk, half and half, butter, and 2 teaspoons of kosher salt in Brava Chef’s Pan and stir together.
    • Cover Chef’s Pan with lid.

    Bake macaroni

    • Once your Brava is preheated, slide Chef’s Pan, covered, into top shelf. Press green button to begin cooking.
    • Note: You will add cheese after 30 minutes.

    Add cheese and finish cooking

    • When Brava notifies you, carefully remove Chef’s Pan.
    • Stir in cream cheese and 3 cups of shredded cheese until melted.
    • Top with remaining cup of shredded cheese and chopped bacon.
    • Slide Chef’s Pan, uncovered, into top shelf. Press green button to continue cooking.

    • When Brava notifies you, carefully remove Chef’s Pan.
    • Serve immediately.
