About this Recipe

Crunchy Ground Beef Tacos are a weeknight favorite for a reason. They come together quickly and pack a punch of flavor. This recipe works with any store-bought spice blend, and we’re also breaking down how to make your own spice blend from scratch with our Brava Taco Seasoning below. Once the ground beef is cooked in the Chef’s Pan, serve into warmed crunchy taco shells, or add a half cup of water to the ground beef mixture first for a saucier consistency. Enjoy with your favorite toppings. We love shredded lettuce, sour cream, cheese, and salsa.

  1. 1

    Brown the beef

    Prep spice mixture

    • While the beef is browning, set aside ¼ cup of store bought taco seasoning, or the Brava Taco Seasoning recipe if you have it.
    • To prepare the Brava Taco Seasoning, in a small bowl, mix together: chili powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and cornstarch (optional) or all-purpose flour. Set seasoning aside.

    • Slide Chef's Pan, uncovered, into top shelf. Press green button to continue cooking.
    • Note: You will remove Chef's Pan after 4 minutes.

  5. 5

    Finish & serve

    • Once Brava notifies you, carefully remove Chef’s Pan.
    • Serve ground beef as is, in warmed taco shells with desired toppings. Or, to make it saucier, add ½ cup of water to the cooked ground beef mixture in Chef’s Pan, stir while hot, and let sit for about 1 minute before serving.
