Brava Chex® Mix

Warning: this recipe is extremely cravable and you may eat the entire batch in one sitting. The adult in me loves a good cocktail nut mix, but the kid in me loves Chex® Mix. Who says you can’t have both? I adapted this from the original Chex® Mix recipe (yes, the one on the cereal box) but I added a few twists to make it a bit more sophisticated and “grown up”. You can use mixed nuts, but I prefer pistachios and almonds. I added soy sauce, which lends even more umami flavor than just using Worcestershire sauce. Corn Nuts® and wasabi peas are a unique addition, but feel free to replace them with any other snacks you like. Bagel chips, pita crisps, cheese crackers and/or Goldfish® will all be great, too!
Ingredients
- 2.0 cups corn Chex® cereal
- 2.0 cups rice Chex® cereal
- 2.0 cups wheat Chex® cereal
- 0.6666666666666666 cups mixed nuts (or ⅓ cup shelled pistachios plus ⅓ cup whole almonds)
- 0.6666666666666666 cups baby pretzels
- 0.3333333333333333 cups Corn Nuts®
- 0.3333333333333333 cups wasabi peas
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 1.0 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1.0 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 0.5 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 0.5 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary (optional)
- 0.5 teaspoons garlic powder
- 0.25 teaspoons onion powder
- 0.25 teaspoons paprika

Prep ingredients
- In large bowl, toss together Chex® cereals, nuts, pretzels, Corn Nuts® and wasabi peas.
- In small bowl, combine butter, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt, sugar, rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika; stir well.
- Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture; stir well.

Bake
- Spread half of mixture on Zones 1, 2 and 3 of Brava metal tray.
- Spread remaining mixture on Zones 1, 2 and 3 of Brava glass tray.
- Slide metal tray into top shelf and glass tray into bottom shelf.
- Select “Brava Chex® Mix” on your touchscreen and follow instructions.
- Note: You will stir Chex® Mix and switch the tray positions after 15 minutes.

Mix Chex® Mix
- Once Brava notifies you, carefully remove the metal tray and glass tray.
- Stir Chex® mixture well.
- Slide glass tray into top shelf and metal tray into bottom shelf.
- Press green button to continue.

Serve
- When your food is done, cool mixture completely before serving.
- Store in airtight container at room temperature.
