  1. 1

    Prepare Ingredient

    • Note: This recipe is tuned for Costco pre-seasoned ribs. Adding additional seasoning could result in burning.
    • You can only cook one rack of spare ribs at a time. If you have 2 racks you will need to cook them separately.
    • Press green button to begin preheating Brava.
    • Spray Zones 1, 2 and 3 of glass tray with cooking spray.
    • Cut one rack of ribs in half.
    • Wrap each half rack of ribs in aluminum foil.
    • Place one half rack, meat side down, in Zone 2 of metal tray; it’s okay if it crosses into Zones 1 and 3.
    • Place other half rack, meat side down, in Zone 2 of glass tray; it’s okay if it crosses into Zones 1 and 3.
    • When Brava notifies you, slide glass tray into bottom shelf and metal tray into top shelf.
    • Press green button to begin cooking.
    • Note: You will switch the tray positions after 1 hour and 15 min.

  2. 2

    Switch tray positions:

    • When Brava notifies you, carefully remove metal tray and glass tray.
    • Slide metal tray into bottom shelf.
    • Slide glass tray into top shelf.
    • Press green button to continue cooking.
    • Note: You will remove aluminum foil after 1 hour 15 min.

  3. 3

    Remove aluminum foil:

    • When Brava notifies you, carefully remove metal tray and glass tray.
    • Carefully remove foil from ribs. Discard foil and liquid.
    • With paper towel, wipe out liquid from bottom of metal tray and glass tray.
    • Place one half rack, meat side down, in Zone 2 of glass tray; it’s okay if it crosses into Zones 1 and 3.
    • Place other half rack, meat side up, Zone 2 of metal tray; it’s okay if it crosses into Zones 1 and 3.
    • Slide glass tray into bottom shelf.
    • Slide metal tray into top shelf.
    • Press green button to continue cooking.
    • When your food is done, transfer ribs to cutting board and slice between bones.
    • Serve with barbeque sauce on the side, if desired.
