Ingredients

  • 1.0 pounds sliced cremini mushrooms
  • 2.0 tablespoons
  • 1.5 pounds cooked green beans, either blanched fresh or thawed frozen
  • 0.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1.0 cups chicken stock
  • 0.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.0 cups canned crispy onions
  • cooking oil
  • kosher salt and black pepper

Instructions

    Cook mushrooms

    • In Brava Chef’s Pan, stir together mushrooms, butter, 2 tablespoons cooking oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.
    • Slide Chef’s Pan, uncovered, into top shelf.
    • Press green button to begin cooking.
    • Note: You will add additional ingredients after 8 minutes.

    Assemble casserole

    • Once Brava notifies you, carefully remove Chef’s Pan.
    • Add green beans, heavy cream, chicken stock, flour and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Stir well.
    • Slide Chef’s Pan, uncovered into top shelf.
    • Press green button to begin cooking.
    • Note: You will add additional ingredients after 12 minutes.
    • While casserole is baking, in a mixing bowl combine crispy onions and 2 tablespoons cooking oil.

    Finish and Serve

    • Carefully remove Chef’s Pan. Top casserole with onion mixture.
    • Carefully slide Chef’s Pan uncovered into top shelf.
    • Press green button to continue cooking.

    Serve

    • When your food is done, let casserole rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
