Prepare Ingredient

  • Trim stalks and fronds about 1 inch above fennel bulb.
  • Cut thin slice off root end.
  • Cut bulb in half lengthwise; remove core.
  • Place bulb halves, cut side down, on cutting board.
  • Cut lengthwise into slices 1/2" thick.
  • Toss with oil.
  • Season with salt.
  • Spread evenly across zone(s) on metal tray.
  • Make sure zone(s) are completely full.
