  • Pat chicken leg quarters dry with paper towels.
  • Trim off excess skin.
  • Season both sides with salt.
  • Place, skin side down, in indicated zone(s) on metal tray.
  • Fill zone(s) according to quantity.
  • Make sure biggest leg is on left side of Zone 2.
  • After plugging in TempSensor, insert it horizontally through biggest leg, parallel to thigh bone.
