Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Yellow Onions
  • 3.0 cloves Garlic
  • 2.0 count Tomato
  • 2.0 Ground Beef
  • 1.0 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 1.5 cups Tomato sauce
  • 0.6666666666666666 cups Ketchup
  • 0.3333333333333333 cups Water
  • 1.0 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1.0 teaspoons Chili Powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
  • 8.0 count Hamburger buns
  • Hot Sauce
  • Vegetable oil
  • Kosher Salt

Instructions

    Sear vegetables

    • In Brava Chef’s Pan, mix together onion, garlic, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil and a pinch of salt and black pepper.
    • Slide Chef’s Pan, uncovered, into top shelf.
    • Press green button to begin cooking.
    • Note: You will add additional ingredients after 5 minutes.

    Add tomatoes

    • Once Brava notifies you, carefully remove Chef’s Pan from Brava.
    • Add tomatoes and a pinch of salt and black pepper; stir well.
    • Return uncovered Chef's Pan to top shelf.
    • Press green button to continue cooking.
    • Note: You will add additional ingredients after 10 minutes.

    Cook sloppy janes

    • Once Brava notifies you, carefully remove Chef’s Pan from Brava.
    • Add ground meat, tomato paste, tomato sauce, ketchup, water, brown sugar, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes, stir gently.
    • Slide Chef’s Pan, uncovered, into top shelf.
    • Press green button continue cooking.

  4. 4

    Garnish and serve

    • Carefully remove Chef’s Pan from Brava.
    • Serve on hamburger buns with hot sauce and pickles, if desired.
