Chef Rose's favorite easy cast iron apple dutch baby recipe adapted for the Brava sqare pan. A quick and easy way to create a yummy weekend breakfast time treat for friends and family. Serving Size: 4 Baking Time: 25 mins Equipment: Brava sqare pan Ingredients: 4 tbs butter 2-3 apples sliced thinly 2 tsp cinnamon 2 tsp apple pie spice 1 tbs sugar 3/4 cup flour 3/4 cup milk 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking powder 1/3 cup sugar 4 eggs powdered sugar to taste Recipe Instructions: 1. Press green button to preheat brava to 400. 2.While brava is preheating combine flour, baking powder, 1/3 cup sugar, salt, milk and eggs. 3. Once brava is preheated add butter to square pan into top shelf. 4. Press green button to melt butter. 5. After butter is melted add slices apples to bottom of the pan on top of the butter. 6.Pour egg mixture over apples. 7. Combine spices and 1tbs sugar and sprinkle on top of egg mixture. 8. Press green button to begin baking. 9. When cook is completed, carefully remove square tray from Brava. 10. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
