About this Recipe

Serves: 2-4 Active Time: 15 min Total Time: ~25 min   Ingredients: • 2 cans of flaked tuna (2x 170g, drained) • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise • 2 ciabatta buns (halved) • 4 slices of cheese • Spreadable cream cheese • Salt and pepper to taste   Spinach Spread: • 1 package of frozen spinach (300g, thawed & drained really good) • 1 package of cream cheese (250g) • 2 tbsp Johnny's® Garlic Seasoning   Directions: 1. Prepare spinach spread; in a large mixing bowl combine spinach, cream cheese, and Johnny's® Garlic Seasoning using a handheld mixer. 2. Divide spinach spread into 4 equal portions, reserve 1 portion and plastic wrap then freeze remaining portions (easier prep next time, just thaw!). 3. Prepare tuna mixture; in the same bowl used to prepare the spinach spread combine reserved spinach spread, mayonnaise, tuna, salt & pepper using a handheld mixer. 4. Assemble tuna melts; spread a thin even layer of spreadable cream cheese onto the ciabatta buns. Then spread an even generous layer of the tuna mixture. Lastly, top each tuna melt with a slice of cheese. 5. Cook tuna melts; place tuna melts onto the Glass Tray across zones 1, 2, & 3. Place the Glass Tray on the bottom shelf and press the green button. 6. Serve and enjoy!
