About this Recipe

Recipe is for a medium rare cook. On your Brava, duplicate and modify this custom cook if you wish to change the doneness. Ingredients: 1 ribeye steak (1-inch thick) Baby portabella mushrooms (1.5 cups sliced) From your pantry: Butter or olive oil Kosher salt and pepper Kitchen Equipment: Brava metal tray Mixing bowl Instructions: 1. Steak should be very cold - ideal starting temperature is 35°F. Do not let steak sit at room temperature before cooking. 2. Pat steak dry with paper towels. 3. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Add oil or butter if desired. 4. Place steak in Zone 2 of metal tray. 5. Cut mushrooms into quarter inch slices, and toss in olive oil and salt. 6. Evenly fill zones 1 and 3 with mushroom slices. 7. After plugging in TempSensor, insert it horizontally through center of steak. 8. Slide metal tray into bottom shelf and follow instructions. 9. When done, slice steak within 2-3 minutes to maintain preferred doneness.
