Apple pie brings together crisp; caramelized apples tucked inside a flaky golden crust. Each slice is heaven on earth with a blend of sweet, yet tart apples with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg for that classic homemade flavor. Simply place your oven safe pie tin on top of metal tray when cooking. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate comfort dessert.

- For the pie:
- 1.0 count ready to bake pie crust, thawed
- 5.0 count medium apples (Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, etc), cut into thin slices or small chunks

- For the streusel topping:

- 0.25 cups butter, room temperature

Prep Apples
- Peel skin of Apples.
- Remove apple core.
- Cut apples into ¼ - ½ inch slices and set in large mixing bowl.

Add Sugar Mixture and assemble pie
- Add sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice to large mixing bowl with the apples.
- Thoroughly coat apples in mixture.
- Transfer mixture to pie crust.

Make streusel topping
- Combine Flour, Butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in medium mixing bowl.
- Uneven clumps are ideal. Slightly warm to room temp butter is best for mix and clump forming ability.
- Evenly spread streusel mixture on top of apples.
- Optional: Apply egg wash to pie crust edges, or apply pie shield if desired.

Bake Pie
- Place pie crust in oven safe pan on top of Brava metal tray and place on bottom shelf.
- Select “Apple Pie” on Brava Touchscreen and follow instructions.

Serve
- When done, allow to cool for at least an hour.
- Recommended to serve with ice cream.
