Ingredients

  • 2.0 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 1.0 teaspoons baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.6666666666666666 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1.0 cups buttermilk
  • 2.0 count eggs, beaten lightly
  • 6.0 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
  • 1.0 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

    Prep the batter

    • In large bowl, add flour, sugars, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips; stir well.
    • In another bowl add buttermilk, eggs, butter and vanilla; whisk well.
    • Fold buttermilk mixture into flour mixture until just combined. Do not over-mix.
    • Lightly grease Brava Loaf Pan with cooking spray, and add a light dusting of flour on top.
    • Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Tap pan firmly on counter to evenly distribute batter.

    Bake chocolate chip quick bread

    • Select “Chocolate Chip Quick Bread” on the Brava touchscreen and press green button to begin preheating, being sure to keep Brava completely empty during this step.
    • When Brava is done preheating, slide loaf pan into top shelf.
    • Press green button to begin baking.

    Finish & serve

    • When your food is done, cool bread in loaf pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
    • Slice and enjoy as is or with butter.
