Amp up the Brava Shrimp and Broccoli Combo in this easy and flavorful recipe. Garlic, honey, soy sauce, and ginger come together in a sweet and savory sauce that makes the dish sing on its own or served over rice or noodles. This serves two people as a main dish or four as a side.
Ingredients
- For the shrimp & sauce:
- 0.5 peeled and deveined shrimp (12–14 medium/large shrimp)
- 3.0 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3.0 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2.0 count garlic cloves, minced
- 0.5 teaspoons ginger, minced
- 1.0 teaspoons cornstarch
- For the broccoli:
- 4.0 cups broccoli florets (2-inch pieces)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2.0 teaspoons soy sauce
- Fresh scallion, cilantro, and lime for serving

Prep shrimp & sauce
- Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and place in mixing bowl.
- In separate bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, honey, garlic and ginger.
- Take 3 tablespoons of soy sauce mixture and pour over shrimp. Toss shrimp to coat in sauce, and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Set the remaining sauce mixture aside, you'll finish making the sauce while food cooks.

Prep broccoli
- While shrimp marinates, prep broccoli. In medium bowl, toss together broccoli, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil and 2 teaspoons soy sauce.
- Evenly spread broccoli in Zones 2 and 3 of Brava Metal Tray.

Finish prep & cook
- When ready, remove shrimp and shake off excess marinade.
- Evenly spread shrimp in Zone 1 of Brava metal tray.
- Select “Honey Garlic Shrimp & Broccoli” on the Brava touchscreen and follow instructions to slide metal tray into top shelf.
- Press green button to begin cooking.

Finish making sauce
- While food cooks finish making sauce. Add cornstarch to reserved sauce and whisk to combine.
- Optional: for a thicker sauce to make a glaze, add 1 tablespoon water to sauce and heat sauce in skillet on stovetop for about 1 minute.

Finish & serve
- When food is done, carefully remove metal tray.
- In a bowl, toss shrimp with sauce.
- Serve shrimp and broccoli over rice or noodles, or on their own. Top with sliced scallion and cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
