About this Recipe
This recipe jazzes up the Tofu and Broccoli combo by serving it with a creamy and spicy peanut sauce. We love adding Sriracha or garlic chili paste for some heat, but you can leave the spice out if you prefer. Enjoy as is or served over warm rice to round it out.
Ingredients
- 1.0 count package firm or extra-firm tofu (14–16 oz), sliced in half to make two thick rectangular steaks
- 3.0 cups broccoli florets
- 1.0 teaspoons plus 2 teaspoons avocado oil, divided
- For the peanut sauce:
- 3.0 tablespoons None
- 2.0 tablespoons None
- 1.5 tablespoons None
- 1.0 tablespoons None
- 2.0 teaspoons maple syrup
- 1.0 teaspoons sriracha, wasabi paste, or garlic chili paste (sambal oelek) (optional)
- 1.0 cloves ½" piece garlic, grated or finely chopped
- fresh ginger, grated or finely chopped
- For serving:
- Sliced scallions
- Fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
- Lime wedges
- Sesame seeds

Instructions

Prep tofu and broccoli
- Pat tofu dry with paper towels, and toss with 1 teaspoon avocado oil. Season with kosher salt.
- Toss broccoli with 2 teaspoons avocado oil and few pinches kosher salt.
- Select “Tofu & Broccoli with Peanut Sauce” on the Brava touch screen and follow instructions to arrange tofu in Zone 1, and broccoli in Zones 2 and 3 on Brava Metal Tray.
- Press green button to begin cooking.

Prep sauce
- While food cooks in Brava, prep the sauce.
- In medium bowl, whisk all peanut sauce ingredients together. Add more water to thin out if needed until desired consistency is reached.

Finish & serve
- When food is done cooking, transfer into bowls or onto a serving plate and drizzle with sauce. Serve with scallions, cilantro, lime wedges, sesame seeds, and remaining sauce.
