1 loaf panettone bread (any kind) cut into 1/2 inch
2 eggs
1/4 c greek yogurt
1/4 c milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 heaping tsp sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp room temp butter
Note: this is for three slices of panettone bread. If using the whole loaf, double the rest of the ingredients.
1. If bread is moist and crumbly, toast the bread lightly before continuing on with the recipe
and let lightly toasted slices cool before next step. (if using brava toast select white bread
and stop halfway through).
2. Smear the tbsp of melted butter all over the metal tray.
3. Mix the eggs, yogurt, milk, vanilla, sugar and cinnamon till really well mixed in a pie plate.
or a shallow container.
4. Place bread in container and let soak for 30 seconds, flip and soak another 30 seconds. If
some areas aren't covered with the egg mixture, use a spoon and spoon it over.
5. Remove bread and place on tray. For three pieces you may have to cut one in half to get
them to fit on the tray.
6. Place on top rack and hit green button after following through the steps.
7. Remove from tray and serve with icing sugar or syrup and whipped cream if desired.
