Since I chose to remove all dairy from my diet 7 years ago, I have missed my parmesan crisps a great deal. This is the closest I have come to that wonderful crunchy-cheesy goodness.

For this recipe, we're going to use Follow Your Heart's Shredded Vegan Parmesan. I am going to attempt this program with a couple of other brands to see which one turns out the best.


What you'll need:

- Metal Tray


1. On the metal tray, place 1.5 to 2-inches wide flat piles of shredded parmesan
2. You may be able to fit a total of 6 piles. You can make the piles smaller if you want to make more crisps

--> That's it. No oil, no butter, not frying.

3. Pull out the tray and let the crisps sit on the tray for a couple of minutes for them to harden.

4. Slowly pull the crisps off the tray, and enjoy!


NOTE 1: Depending on how big your pills of shredded vegan cheese are, you may have to add a little bit of a sear (30 seconds to 45 seconds) to get a nice browning.

NOTE 2: When you finish the cook, there will be some light smoke that comes out of the Brava door when you open it. It's normal!
