This comforting mac and cheese is easy to make and perfect to serve in the Brava Chef's Pan. All the ingredients are combined in one dish to create a creamy, comforting, one-pan mac and cheese the whole family will love.
• 1 lb elbow macaroni or penne pasta
•1 cup heavy cream, divided
• 2 cups milk
•2 cups chicken stock
•1 cup sour cream
•dash of nutmeg
•dash of salt
•4 cups (1 lb) shredded cheese
Preheat Brava and Prep Pasta:
Press the green button to begin preheating Brava.
Place dry pasta, milk, 1/2 cup heavy cream, and chicken stock into Chef's Pan and stir together. Cover Chef's Pan with Lid.
Once your Brava is preheated, insert Chef's Pan covered into top shelf. Press green button again to begin cooking.
Add Cheese, Flavors, and Finish Cooking:
When Brava notifies you, carefully remove the Chef's Pan. Stir in sour cream. Whisk eggs and remaining heavy cream, then stir into pasta. Add salt, spices, 3 cups of cheese, and stir to combine. Top with remaining shredded cheese and optional garnish of parsley or bread crumbs (3 tbs). Insert Chef's Pan, uncovered, into top shelf. Press green button to complete cooking.
When the Brava notifies you, carefully remove the Chef's Pan. Allow to cool for about 5-10 minutes then serve. Enjoy!
