About this Recipe
Al Pastor is a method of preparing thinly-sliced pork that’s marinated, most typically with adobo sauce. Layers of pork are formed together into the classic ‘trompo’ shape, which translates to spinning top in English. While this Brava recipe doesn’t have that classic shape, it still hits all the notes you’d expect at your local taqueria. This recipe uses a half cup of the Brava Adobo Sauce recipe - search that recipe on your Brava and make that first before you get started here. Enjoy the delicious meat in tacos, tortas, quesadillas, tlayudas, tostadas or your favorite Mexican dish. Provecho!
